PLAYBACK! Listen To KEXP’s Roadhouse Radio Now: 1/20/16: Puttin’ A Hurtin’ On The Bottle

There’s a ton of good stuff on this three-hour show so dig in after you dig out (East Coasters!). The KEXP audio is good until Feb 3rd.

There’s plenty of new music from people you may not be familiar with, like Nashville singers Margo Price (pictured) and Tanya Montana Coe (David Allan’s daughter), Dylan LeBlancGrace Love & The True Loves, and Julie Rhodes. Plus the new record from The Cactus Blossoms, which was produced beautifully by JD McPherson resulting in a very Everly Brothers kinda sound.

But first, a set of 60’s GOLD from the likes of Dusty Springfield, Bobbi Gentry, Lee Hazlewood & Nancy Sinatra, and Carloe King‘s band from 1968 called The City. Plus more gems from that era and a song by Irma Thomas featuring Duane Allman‘s guitar on a Swamp Dogg produced track called “We Won’t Be In Your Way Anymore”. It doesn’t get much better than that.
